I've had my Milestone for a day and its got the 2.0 firmware, and I have to say in general I'm pretty impressed. One area badly lacking is in the Wi-Fi Network configuration:
- You can't change a network once its created so if you got your password wrong you may need to remove the existing entry and retype other info (Enterprise WPA2) and then hope you don't make a different mistake (if it fails you can't even view the seetings). Surely google employees don't enjoy typing on a mobile that much... Note that some networks at least have a "Change password" option.
- There is no Proxy support so although I can connect to work's intranet, it is impossible to get out onto the internet! This must must be a serious issue to some people (or at least to anyone rolling out android phones within a company), I'll use 3G (and pay for it)...
This wasn't at all well thought out...
